The Burial Ground is run by a Board of Trustees and is a registered charity. The Trustees can be contacted via the Cemetery Administrator at St Mary’s Parish Office, Church Street Luton and all general inquiries should be made via the administrator.

The Cemetery is consecrated in accordance with the rite of the Church of England; membership of the Church is not a requirement for anyone wishing to acquire a plot. Plots for full burial and the burial of cremated remains are available.

The Cemetery is open every day.  Visiting outside daylight hours is not recommended.

The Cemetery is a short walk from Luton Town center; buses from the town stop close to the main cemetery entrance;  cars are not permitted within the cemetery. Limited parking is available nearby or, for those visiting the upper reaches of the site, in Ketton Close, where a pedestrian gate is located.

Due to the topography of the site, the unevenness of footpath, steps and access to most graves being over grassed areas suitable footwear is recommended. Access for those with limited mobility will be more difficult and we recommend that you contact the Cemetery Administrator to discuss your visit before travelling.

There is no water supply on site. If you require water then please bring this with you and we ask that you take your contained and any rubbish away with you. Bins are provided on site, but when full rubbish may blows around the Cemetery.

There are no toilet facilities nor is there any shelter in the event of inclement weather.

The Chapel is no longer in use.  The occupants of the lodge house have no responsibility for the cemetery and we ask that you respect their privacy.

Information about memorials are available from the administrator and we recommend that you read this  if wishing to erect a memorial.
